Finished this in a day! It's a great time, and I definitely recommend it. Is it going to change your life? No. But it's nice to spend some time at a resort in Maui instead of the hellhole that is 2020

Olive and her sister’s new brother-in-law get to go on an all-expenses paid honeymoon trip when the bride and groom get violently ill at the wedding reception. The only problem is that they don’t like each other. Really fun read, with issues that make sense and get resolved in a way that makes sense. I’ve been burned by a lot of romance novels recently that made no sense at all, so this was a relief. It’s a bit slow going at the start but then stays absorbing all the way to the end.

I really liked the original plot of the protagonists in Maui and their undeniable chemistry. I didn’t enjoy the last third of the book when everybody
starts to blame Olive for telling her sister that her husband got on her and was cheating on her before they got married. I thought that was victim blaming and it shocked me that even her sister and the love interest started to go against her for a while.
