I enjoyed the book even when it felt dragging sometimes. It’s very informative to the life of trans women and thought provoking about motherhood and personal choices.

The main characters all have flaws but you can’t bring yourself to hate them.

I like the open ending. I think it’s the best considering their situation. Whatever they choose, it would be an emotional choice filled with challenges.

I thought this book was fine. I thought it tapped into some really interesting ideas, but the book had gaps for me. We are looking at two exes with such an interesting and challenging past, yet that past does not give them any feelings in the present. It felt like their history was glossed over, as were some of the motivations of characters.
