I don't think I can write a review that does this book justice. It's heavy and unique and unlike anything I have ever read before. I learned a lot while reading this, and I think it poses some really good questions about womanhood and motherhood. I just enjoyed every page of this. It is beautifully and elaborately written and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry and reflect.

truly interesting, empathic depictions of parenthood and the manifestations of desire
the chapter where all 3 of them interact for the first time is so Contrapoints-coded, i can't help loving it especially when Katrina interjects to remind Reese there are other perspectives aside from the white one. we probably could've explored race a bit more if i'm being honest, but i liked this overall!
