This was SUCH a good take on the marriage of convenience trope. There are points where they wouldn't even have to go through with it but still do because they can't imagine not marrying the other and goddd, I ATE that shit up.
August and Natalie definitely have my heart — I love how Bailey writes her characters and her relationships, they're always complicated and messy, yes, but there's still so much tenderness and love in all of their interactions and you really can't help but root for them.
Especially Natalie's ending is so satisfying to her character arc and I love how she found herself through the course of this book <3
