Overall, this was nice. I wish it were more groveling and less explosive arguments. Everything was a long drawn out fight….but the ending was very sweet.
This book was. Um. Well. This book was a stunning portrayal of the line between romantic melodrama and emotional domestic abuse. I think the “groveling” in the final arcs of the book were simultaneously over-the-top but nowhere near enough to ameliorate Sandro’s behavior in the first chapters of the book…
All that said, I enjoyed every minute of this. It really reminded me how much I’ve missed romance.

groveling wasn’t as good as tiktok said it was. was lowkey hoping for more jealous moments lol but we move. i like that the girl mc didn’t IMMEDIATELY give in like they usually do, like it gave basic human woman time??
