I recently started reading books with groveling but this has been my least favorite. Usually if I read groveling they need to grovel for like half the book. If I was the female MC I would not have forgiven him after what he had done to her in the first 1 1/2 of marriage. He did show her he cared but I’m the type of person that is too little, too late.

If anything, it was too much at the end, but I really liked their relationship. I found how the heroine's weight was referred to a little annoying, but it wasn't a large focus.The whole pregnancy and child thing didn't even detract from it, which it usually would've done.

This book hurts so good. The grovel was top tier like he grovels for at least 70% of the book. Although I didn't find the characters loveable but they're still bearable i guess.
