An interesting and defensible premise about the deleterious effects of the boomer generation is undermined by a fixation on portraying it as sociopathy and shoving in evidence based on slight deviations from mores of other generations.

Writing style was hard to stay engaged with. Just paragraphs and paragraphs of info dumping.

DID NOT FINISH

Dnf - there's a lot of medical diagnosis's being thrown around for someone who is not a psychiatrist. I understand the sentiment, and I also agree to and extent. But we're completely missing out on the impact of Reagan, capitalism, the patriarchy, religion, and the ever growing rich 1%. Boomers so absolutely suck, 100%, but they are a symptom of a much larger problem.

This book made me very angry.

the sass in this book is to die for! i’m grateful the author could add levity to the hours and hours of truth about why my parents generation is Like That
