This was a very fun comic, and made me care about a character that I just brushed off a lot of the time. I haven’t laughed much more from a comic than this one, and it made Clint Barton very interesting. The art is also spectacular, who doesn’t love stories about middle aged men mid life crisis?

i really love this series.
the art is so good and it’s REALLY making me want to learn how to draw. the color palette is so peaceful with all the purples and blues and i love it so much. the cameos from tony stark, spiderman, and wolverine? excellent. two hawkeyes for the price of one? fantastic. don’t even get me STARTED on lucky the pizza dog. i liked how kate and clint were both just allowed to be human. they made mistakes, and had struggles, but they’re still avengers. i just think that’s neat. this is still the best comic i’ve read and i cannot get over how nice everything looks. my one complaint is the art in issues 4 and 5. it was so different from the entire rest of the run and i wasn’t a huge fan of that. it wasn’t a huge deal though and it didn’t really take away from the incredible quality of the rest of the comic. i’ll definitely be reading this again since i caught a lot of new things on the second read. great art, great plot, great characters. good job.
technically this is a reread (i’m trying to decide which volume to buy) but i just realized they have the whole series in one book on here rather than the four volumes that i used last time so i’m using this instead. yeah.

Quite simply, it’s a wonderful read with excellent writing and mostly great art from all involved. Both Hawkeyes and the other characters involved are all written so well and full of personality. The villains are menacing and believable in their evil motivations as well. It’s a new classic and really should be evergreen on bookstore shelves.
