An insightful read on how to work together and communicate in the digital age. I liked how it covered different ways to communicate over zoom or email, giving helpful suggestions on how to do it effectively. It covers best ways to communicate with introverts, extroverts, and people across different ages, genders, and cultures. It defines 4 key values in order to work together effectively digitally: Value Visibly, Communicate Carefully, Collaborate Confidently, once you can do these 3 things, then you will be able to Trust Totally.
I thought it was insightful and I learned a bit, but some parts I already knew since I grew up in a digital age so I didn't think this was super applicable to me, but I did enjoy it.

The chapter about “how to write an email” broke me!! I was expecting serious insights and I got social media and real basic nonsense.

A timely read for those still working primarily in the virtual world, and those who know they will remain in at least some sort of hybrid model, even after the pandemic has passed. Dhawan clearly discusses different elements of how social conventions and non-verbal communication translate into virtual spaces... or rather, *don't* translate. She describes practices that can assist leaders in communicating and connecting better online, many of which are applicable to "the real world" too. A good read for anyone who does work virtually, particularly in organizations that are multi-generational and diverse.
