I describe this as a Yo Yo book. There is a lot of exposition that I started to tune out for followed by dramatic or brutal scenes. I like what it did and how it resolved but I prefer a faster paced book.

nOt my kind of book. Made me really uncomfortable. Made it 9.5 hrs into the audiobook and stopping now bc it would not be worth the full 27 hrs. Really did not like the child abuse (obvi) and from what I hear it gets worse. I also didnt really see a main plotline. How do you get 9.5 hrs into a book w.o a main plot? I just didnt see where the story was going. Also very dubious consent
