I started out hilarious and clever enough and then turned into sexist nonsense as soon as it entered the relationship chapters. For example: Why is it less okay to ask a guy friend for advice while being in a relationship than to accept a drink and casually flirt with strangers? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I came across this book at the right time. Taken with a grain of salt, it provides a lightness and comedic take on the modern world of dating and relationships. It’s a great read for those looking for their match, newly dating, and in a relationship.

Every girl should read this. Im not actively "looking to find love and shit" but this book was a solid reminder of what I'm worth and how I need to look at, value and be real with myself when it comes to certain situations. There were some hard truths but they were also truths I tell my friends but sometimes can't bring to tell myself in certain dating scenarios.
Of course there were parts where I may have disagreed but for the most part I appreciated the words, advice, sarcasm and wit I was reading.

I get that they were trying to be funny - I’ve followed their Instagram for years and get their daily emails. But this book just comes across as bitchy and mean most of the time. Forced myself to finish after putting it down for months.

Ehh, this book was okay! Not meant to be taken too seriously obviously but some of it was just so bitchy (I get it your the betches) that it was cringe! And like how many fat shaming comments can you make in a book? We get it, don’t get fat
