I swear Abbey Jimenez is amazing at writing all about our deepest emotions to perfection! It never fails to amaze me how enthralled I get in her stories and how my heart is usually squeezed, wrecked and put back together by the end of the story. I have yet to come across a book of hers I didn’t love. The Part of Your World Series is simply fabulous.

I loved this! My first time reading Abby Jimenez and I am so excited I got to start with this book. I loved the writing style and the pace of the story. It was funny, sweet, and light. I related to Jacob so much throughout the book. The reason I didn’t give it a five star is because at the very end after it started to become a happy ending for Jacob & Briana, it flipped to an unexpected situation and trope. I didn’t mind it but it just dragged the storyline for really no reason. I wished that situation was written differently. Overall I adored this book!

Enjoyed Brianna and Jacob’s story although their miscommunication started to get frustrating at a point. However, that is how anxiety and trauma often plays out so it wasn’t that far off.
I do think everyone moved on and accepted the whole Amy and Jeremiah thing way too quickly. Also, there were way too many situations where Jacob gets thrown up on. Kind of unnecessary, really..
