Her Every Wish

Courtney Milan does it again! If you want a lady power, down with the patriarchy, kick butt romance, this novella is the ticket! Can’t wait to read the next one!

Oh be still my heart! So very sweet, with a lovely message and a fantastically satisfying ending.

Sometimes you just need something comforting and reliable.

Her every wish is another novella based on 2 seemingly minor characters in the Worth series, focused on Crash and Daisy. The story opens as Daisy attempts to win a competition that would allow her to start her own business. She makes it to the semi-finals by using her initials and fooling everyone into thinking she is a male. When it is apparent she’s a female, she’s derided as taking away an opportunity away from a man. She’s discouraged, but her frenemy Crash encourages to move forward and pursue the opportunity. He helps her discover her own worth (which I suspect is the main theme of the entire Worth saga) and their relationship grows.

Another delightful book from Courtney. I feel like I need a scale for her specifically for her book because she’s such an outstanding writer – so 3.5/5 on my Courtney scale.

thats a cute lil romance story

Cute follow-up story about side characters. Truly appreciating Milan’s research.

The characters are great but a combo of the length of the story and that the relationship had primarily developed in the past made the romance a bit meh.
