It's pretty clear from the outset and title that this book is going to have a happy ending. But the characters and are so much fun and so adorable, that it's worth the ride. Fun read.

A quirky but lovable story

This was a story full of least expectations yet it wrapped up perfectly. A lovely love story.. if it drags a little bit, keep reading.. it’s worth it!

Such a classic romance. One of my favorites that I've read lately!

Not as satisfying as some of the author's other books, but Daisy is wonderful and I need a friend like Julia.

There is just something enjoyable about a Jennifer Crusie book. Maybe a part of it her protagonists tend to be women in their mid-30s, enjoy food, have curves, love animals, and are comfortable with their lives. Daisy Flattery Blaise is one of the weaker characters the Crusie has created, but is still enjoyable.

A quick read that was relatively enjoyable, though a rather un-memorable story in the long run.

Probably my least favorite Crusie book. I think both main characters needed some more development because they both felt a bit… superficial? And the plot towards the end was cursory/hasty, which was mildly annoying. Not a huge fan of major plot points being nicely tied up in the span of 10 pages.

That being said, this was still a cute book with the signature Jennifer Crusie style that made me laugh out loud and that’s why it still gets 3 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Jennifer, pleasepleaseplease write more books
