Wow, just wow this book ripped a part my soul and then slowly put it back together again! Evie and Luc can’t get any more adorable or else I will die of a sweet tooth. Omg! This book took off with a bang and then kept going and going with the amazing action! I can’t believe all the crazy things that happened!!!!

The dilemma that this poor girl is facing, I just can’t even imagine what that is like! To remember or not to remember that is the question and I don’t even know what my answer would be. Not only does this poor girl not remember most of her life, she doesn’t know whether or not people’s feelings are for her or the girl she was before.

The plot also went into a complete different direction that I thought and I completely surprised about who was the person responsible! I totally guessed wrong and was taken completely by surprise! IT WAS SO GOOD!

Really enjoyed this series and this book.

This I love. Fas-ci-nan-te.

Por supuesto la autora drags along any discovery during the book and waits until the end to reveal any interesting information. Paralelamente en la ciudad and across the country estan ocurriendo extrañas muertes. Jajajajajaja.

Como en I wish you all the best.

In other news, me ha gustado reunirnos con Dee y Archer, y Dawson y Bethany.

 Guys...

So much happened in this book that I can't even wrap my mind around it yet.

Picking up after The Darkest Star, Evie is still working out who she really is and you can tell that it's beginning to weigh heavily on her. Trying to bridge the distance between Evie and Nadia often leaves her feeling confused and even angry. I did feel bad for her because you could tell she was trying to make the people around her happy but wasn't focusing on who she was internally.

Then there's Luc - don't get me wrong, I adore this man. But I did kind of want to punch him in this one. He's very controlling over Evie and I get that it's because he cares but he also needs to let her stand on her own and support her while she tries to figure out who she is. And omg the cockiness that radiates of this guy lol.

For the fans of the original Lux series, we got to seem some old characters that we love so that was really nice. But OMG the bombs that were dropped throughout this - I need more. I need to know what's going to happen to Evie with all that was revealed. I am also loving (and kind of terrified) by how much this book relates to what is going on in our world now. You have hate, prejudice, a president who wants to deny rights and even a killing virus. Jen really hit the nail on the head there. It was very eerie to read about.

I also need Armentrout to STOP KILLING CHARACTERS I LIKE!

I hate that I got so behind on reading once school started back because I was so excited to read this one! Of course once I did pick this one up, it was so hard to put down, well, other than how big the book is, so it was hard to hold for too long either! LOL!! There were so many new obstacles and things with the Luxen and Arum and Origins and even some new people/creatures/beings/secret organizations thrown in. And yeah, all four of those things, not me just trying to be random. I was also so excited when there was something that happened in the book that took place in my city of Kansas City, and I knew exactly where it was supposed to be happening! So much back story learned during this one, but also so many more questions and things we need to know! And that ending! Wow! Total cliffhanger. I still adore Luc of course, but maybe still Daemon more though. But now we need to know exactly what is happening to Evie. I will say I got a little annoyed with her whole wondering if he only loved the girl he remembered and that his feeling weren't really for her now. Hopefully she'll move on from that in the next book. Which, do I have to wait a whole year? Because I don't know if I can wait! Well, my arms can, they did get a little tired holding this one in bed at night. Honestly, this size of book is exactly why e-books are sometimes better! Oh yeah, and I loved seeing the name of a former book blogger that I know is friends with the author for one of the characters.

I started to really like this book and then it started to just go downhill. Not all, downhill...but more like the main character was repeating herself “I’m not sure...I don’t know what to do..should I ask?..no I shouldn’t ask” and then repeat all of that until almost the end of the book lol.
But I enjoyed the scenes with Luc and I feel like we are finally getting somewhere with the main character finding herself and who she is supposed to be.
I’m disappointed I have to wait for the next book and looks like it’ll be quite the wait.

Do yourself a favour AND READ THIS BOOK! 10/5 stars - loved every single part of it!!!!

This story continues for Luc and Evie, and not only does the plot thickens (with a help of some old Lux characters) but oh boy is there action!! I couldn’t put this book down. I found myself gasping, crying and pleading because I wanted more.

Evie really matures in this story (annoyed me less) and let’s Luc in, which I was so relieved to see because the love Luc has for her - He is more than worth it.

OH AND THAT ENDING was so good to see the old Lux gang.

5 stars.

Finally met (a very pregnant!!!) Kat again! This book made me want to reread Lux Series maybe after I finished with this series athough I read somewhere that there might be another book yet to be released. Sigh.
