So apparently this book also came with a bonus scene and I just found out?! Does anyone know if there is a way to still get it or was it a preorder deal?

You know how much I love JLA. Her writing, her characters and her series is just something fun and enjoyable for me to read.
I love Luxen series, the world, the characters and we get more I am so thankful that we do.
I definitely enjoy Luc and Evie's storyline more but its still similar and addictive.
I think JLA stories are always heavily on romance between the main character with the side of the action going on in the world.
As I have read JLA works I am so used to it but new readers who hasn't read her work might not enjoy that but I love it. Its a good guilty pleasure but not really guilty you know.
We were left with a cliff hanger on the first one and we did get a cliff hanger on this one too.
I can't wait for the third book.
We get more character development between Evie and Luc.
I need a Luc in my life.
He is everything. But his jokes and everything sometimes are just during the wrong timing.
I don't know if I want to knock his head or give him a hug.
We do learn more about what is going on in the world and Evie.
There are so many secrets and bits and pieces of stories we are learning, not fully.
I really need the third book to know what is going on, it frustrates me where we come so close to know what is happening then something happen.
A character die during the end and I am disappointed. I love that character.
I expect more character development of Evie in the next one.
I want her involvement more. I don't want the squad to protect her. I want her to fight too you know.

holy CRAP this book was good! So many turns and WTF moments and the surprise ending that I DID NOT see coming..just wow! Jennifer has hit this one out of the park!

HOLY ALIEN BABIES! JLA strikes again... I could not put this book down. It was a roller coaster of emotion from start to finish and it was so LONG (a plus, in my opinion). Luc is hilarious and irresistible and, as usual, Jen does an amazing job of conveying this in all the little ways. AND THE FINAL REVELATION?! I can’t believe I have to wait over a year for the next one. fhkhhjkhjjkkl
Also we get snippets/visits from Daemon, Kat, Dawson, Dee, Beth, and Archer! Daemon just... unffff. Enough said. <3
