This was a beautifully written and atmospheric read, with a story that felt both unique and timely. The environmental themes were woven in seamlessly, and the concept itself was compelling. However, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something just felt… off for me. Maybe I wanted more depth in certain areas, or maybe I just didn’t connect with it as much as I hoped. That said, the writing was fantastic, and the story itself was intriguing. I enjoyed this.

I have slogged through to get this far. I usually love me some fantasy, but I need _something_ to happen to move the book along. Just as soon as I started to like a character, they make a choice that I didn't like and it never seemed interesting or worth it. I'm out at 58%.
