My heart can't take this book. Forrest was so obsessed with Briar and her girls. He was kind of an instant father to them and I loved it so much. They just fit in so naturally with each other. I loved seeing Briar and her girls gain a big family and people to love them.

Briar is a single mom of twin girls who has lost almost everything in her life. With the help of her sister she moves to a new town and tries to move on with her life. There she meets Forrest, co-owner of Everlasting Ink. Befriending his sister, Briar has a hard time resisting Forrestโs charm. Forrest quickly falls for Briar and his girls but recognizes that Briar has had a lot happen to her and is determined to go slow but prove he is there for them. Eventually he proves himself to be just the man that the girls need and they become an adorable and perfect family.

Briar is such a strong single mom. You get bita a pieces of something traumatic happening to her in the past but when the whole thing comes out, my heart broke for her. She is extremely hesitant on trust, which is totally understandable, but the way that she slowly opened up with Forrest and began to trust him was so beautiful and healing for her.
Forrest, ugh that man is perfection! He was patient he was kind, he was there for Briar in every way she needed. He took to River and Rayne instantly and always showed them nothing but love. Those moments where we got to see his interactions with them and their nicknames Razzle and Dazzle, my heart melted ๐ฅน
I can't wait for Maddox next, I really hope the FMC is who I'm thinking.

This was such a great edition to the series and I just love the single mom trope so much and Kaylee does it so well!! Forrest and Briar were amazing together, this is a bit of a slow burn but the feelings were there from the start almost. The way Forrest was all in and his honesty!! Loved!! And Forrest with the girls was just the cutest thing ever!!
It was sweet, it was swoony, itโs found family goodness, it was a little emotional and I couldnโt get enough! Iโve already got my theories about whose book is next and I canโt wait!!

Kaylee has done it once again. She has written a heartfelt story with no third act break up (thank you for that)! This is just a beautiful story of love, trust and patience. I am in love with this world and I canโt wait to see whose story is coming next!
Forrest and briar were very well written characters, this is a well written story. I very much enjoyed this book
