an interesting book with an interesting premise tho it felt it didn't really lived up to it. the worldbuilding was great. the story did lost me toward the 70% mark, I might pick up the second book.

i'm definitively curious about the movie.

I liked it but I liked the movie a lot more. I felt like Bong’s choices made me care more about the characters while this has a lot of lore stuff which is pretty cool too. I guess you’d say this is a hard sci-fi book with characters while the movie is a character story set in a hard sci-fi world. Pick your flavor. Ending could have been better too.
