I randomly came across authors tiktok and was following her ever since!!
This book was great, it’s like our fantasies came to life with this one

*Slight but it really spoiler*

This book definitely brings out most of our TikTok fantasies!
I loved Josh and Alys story. They’re hilarious and of course Fred… oh Fred I love you the most let’s be honest lol! The plot was great the spice was there , there are triggers so make sure you check those out.

If I’m being honest there were parts of the book that I felt weren’t needed.. the ending dinner with her uncle was.. ehhh for the most part but when they were leaving for the night that little banter between Josh and her uncle was funny.
Delusive it a try if you’re into the ghostface tiktoks *wink*

DNF - barely got half way, too cringy and that’s saying something for me because I love an easy or cringy read

This book is 50% Spice 50% Humor. It was hilarious and is one of my favorite books now and forever. This book is dark, spicy, and wild, but I have never laughed so hard in my life! I love Josh and Aly they were HILARIOUS and perfectly matched. It was amazing. I almost never wanted this book to end, lol

This isn’t a good book, not gonna lie. But is it entertaining? Absolutely yes.

Some of the humor was cringe (the popcorn eating scene, for instance. It felt strangely out of place and wasn’t funny). The book should have been trimmed down, it could have ended at about 80% of the way in and we wouldn’t have lost anything.

One of my main problems (maybe I’m just picky) was that Aly felt very flat. Beyond that, she’s supposed to be a NURSE but states multiple times that Josh is going to make her spontaneously ovulate by doing things she found attractive. It took me out of the book every time.

It does get an extra star because the audiobook is an absolute delight, and I recommend the audiobook over the physical book. Jacob Morgan is phenomenal.
