Definitely has insta-love and insta-lust vibes. I did enjoy some plot content to liven up the story, and while it can feel like the story/plot is rushed, keep in mind I classify this as a "quick read" kind of dark romance. So, what do you expect?
I binge read this over two days. I found it easy to get into and then I was along for the ride. And it is a ride. 😂
4 stars because I enjoyed the ride, but it's still not the best dark romance I've binged. It's definitely one I've enjoyed more than others though.

i loved this!! Josh is definitely one of my favorite morally grey mmc’s and i love how Aly is almost just as twisted and very strong-willed.
the only thing i would’ve liked is a bit more of a slow-burn, but that’s more of personal preference.

1 actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I loved Aly and Josh, I adored Fred, the comedy was on point and the smut was good too. On top of that I also found the storyline quite interesting. I was expecting to like the book since I had heard good things but I actually thought it was really good. The comedy was like the cherry on top of a delicious cake. I would actually recommend this book if you’re looking for something smutty, funny, short and sweet. It was perfect.
