This was another freebie ebook and I really enjoyed it. I did figure out who the mole was pretty quick but that didn't make the story any less enjoyable! In the book, Stephanie is camping with her children and they stumble upon quite the crime scene. In an effort to keep her safe while also using her to get information, John must whisk her away to a safe house. Here the thriller part of the book begins to take a back seat to romance and I did begin to lose interest but the author made sure to keep bringing the bad guys into the story and that kept me from putting the book down. If you like romance novels- the romance in this probably didn't start soon enough to keep you reading. If you're like me and prefer crime/suspense/thriller type books, the book will pull you in quickly and I think you will enjoy the book. If you like a mix of romance and suspense, this just might be the perfect book for you.

This was an action packed romance with a touch of suspense.

When Stephanie witnesses a horrific crime, FBI agent John Dalton is out in charge of protecting her and her two children. John is no stranger to heartache but somehow Stephanie worms her way into his heart. John will to anything to protect Stephanie and her kids, but can her discover where the leak is before harm comes to them all?

His Witness to Heal was an easy read, if slightly predictable. I loved that the author kept the mole a bit of a mystery throughout the book, even when written from its third person POV; unfortunately though I wish they would have stretched out the “unknown” for a bit longer. I loved how the relationships between John and the Boyd family seemed natural and unforced.
