Each Pippa Grant book is better than the last one. Kami and Nick are a perfect match even though the book starts with Nick forgetting Kami’s birthday and dumping his baby calf in his condo off on Kami, his FWB partner for the last 8 months. This is the last straw for Kami, who has secretly not so secretly loved Nick for years.

Nick realizes he screwed up and makes a tremendous effort at trying to apologize to Kami enough to get her back into his life ... he realizes he misses her.

Kami has a backbone and a devious streak, she makes Nick work hard at earning time with her. Kami decides to seek a boyfriend using her cousin Muffy’s matchmaking service whic doesn’t go so smoothly.

The book has appearances by Ares and Zeus Berger, Manning, Felicity and many more characters from previous Pippa books.

This book is hilarious, and full throttle fun! I received an ARC for an honest review. I would have read the book and left a review anyway, because Pippa is one of my absolute favorite authors. I think this is y favorite Pippa book, which seems impossible since. I’ve love all of her previous works. Can’t wait for whatever Pippa releases next!

Very Charming

Nick Murphy doesn't know how to mess up just a little he goes big time, which means he goes big on the apology. Kami breaks up with Nick when she realizes that he is a self centered jerk. Especially when the pranks the team pull on each other have gotten out of hand and she's always left finding homes for the animals they use, Nick's cow was the last straw.
Pippa Grant infused this story not only with heartbreak, comedy, but also with a lesson. There's many laugh out loud moments and heartfelt moments too.

Pippa has done it again! She writes lovable alph-holes like no one else! Nick is a self centered hot hockey player who finds out there is more to life than hockey in the greatest way possible! Kamie, Felicity's best friend, and Nick have been having a secret “friends-with-benefits” for a few months. Kamie has always been in love with Nick and really sees the good that she knows he has inside him. When he asks her to help him with a pranked cow, she has had it with his selfishness and realizes he’s never going to change and tells him they are over.

Nick is upset, but moves on until he realizes he can’t live without her in his life. He misses everything about her so he vows to change and win her back.

We see Nick grow into the adorable best boyfriend we all knew he had inside of him. It was great to see him find his true self as he won back Kamie’s love.

Another great story, Pippa!

Soooo fricking good!

If you want to laugh your butt off for hours still your stomach hurts, this is the book for you!

Nick Murphy is an idiot! And you love him anyway. I don't know that I've ever connected with a heroine as much as I did with Kami. She made my heart clench in a way only a beautifully well established character can. Pippa never halfa$$s characters, and this is no different.

The biggest bonus though is all the amazing moments with the people you love from previous books, especially the Berger twins! I adore Ares but I LOVE Zeus! And there so much wonderful amazing Zeus in this book I just giggled like a school girl.

Nick Murphy had many sides to him. We’ve seen his playful side, his overprotective big brother side but his vulnerable and romantic side left me a little weak in the knees.
My girl Cami...Iet me just say I loved how Cami stood her ground and firm in what she wanted and deserved. I felt like that’s something that made her relatable because for so long people will just accept what is knowing they deserve more. I loved how she made Nick work for it and showed him that she’s not to be taken for granted. I was like yes girl yes! But, what she didn’t expect was for Nick to go above and beyond in showing just how much she meant to him and how much he wanted her to be a part of his world. It was everything. Of course, being Pippa Grant there was plenty of laughs and crazy shenanigans that kept me teary eyed with laughter.

I feel like I’ve reached the point where I can’t claim to avoid over the top romantic comedies at all cost when I just keep coming back for more from Pippa Grant. To be fair though, she’s one of the only authors I trust to be able to combine that OTT humor with a really sweet story that’s full of heart and substance and THAT is why I keep coming back.

This is Nick and Kami’s story. We met them both briefly in Beauty and the Beefcake, which seems fitting because these are my two favorite books from Pippa.

Nick is a prankster and a player who doesn’t really do relationships and doesn’t really pay much attention to anything or anyone outside of hockey. That is until his lack of attention to details ends his friends with benefits relationship with his younger sister’s best friend, Kami.

Kami has been half in love with Nick for years and getting to sleep with him is like a dream come true, until she finally has to face the fact that he doesn’t really see her and will probably never want more than a FWB relationship with him.

What ensues is a hilarious journey of begging for forgiveness, getting revenge, falling love and a whole bunch of cow-related fun.

I loved that in between all of the pranks, the hilarious birthday gifts, and the ridiculousness of having a pet cow-dog, there was a real and honest love story. We see the broken and scared side of Nick and the strong yet vulnerable side of Kami and just how perfect they are together.

There’s also the fact that we get a lot of Ares in this book and that I loved Nick so hard that he gave Ares some competition as my favorite hero in this crowd of misfits. Two amazing book boyfriends is always better than one, right?

*I received an ARC from the author for voluntary reveiw

I loved listening to Nick and Kami’s story. I was little worried that I might not be a “fan” of Nick Murphy after listening to the other books in this series, but he won me over big time. The crazy shenanigans had me laughing out loud throughout. Hands down my favorite in the series.
