Mark Twain was a genius and Huckleberry Finn his best work. I’m not going to critique the story itself here because it’s been done repeatedly. I’ll just say that, as ever, the story is a classic for a reason.
This edition is very nice. It contains the complete text and illustrations, plus an insightful introduction containing biographical information about Mark Twain, aka Samuel Clemens. The introduction was well written and the biographical information was interesting. It’s a nice frontispiece to the story. I’m taking off a star for the annotations. I’d recommend this edition because it’s complete and readable with a good introduction.
