I read this a couple times before but this was my first doing the audiobook narrated by Tim Curry. Really fun listen as it used sound effects and other voice actors

For nostalgia’s sake I do like this book, and still intend to finish the series.  However, the writing itself is not my favorite.  Though, I found that reminding myself it is a children’s book explains why the writing is the way it is!

Listened to this with the kids and we loved it! I’ve never read these so it was fun for me too. But the audio was particularly great because it has a full cast.
