Ina Garten
I do enjoy watching Ina and looking through her cookbooks. I read this one cover to cover, save a few of the dessert recipes. There are a few good tips that stood out to me as well as a couple of recipes that caught my eye but overall, this isn’t one I feel the need to add to my collection.

Nothing shows the huge difference between the life I have and the life I want like an Ina Garten cookbook. This cookbook is a good blend of recipes I could make and recipes I’d never tackle, but a woman can dream . . .
I was drooling over so many things while reading this! And with Ina’s tips and stories, it feels like a chat with an old friend who just happens to be an amazing cook.
The chapters in COOK LIKE A PRO on breakfast and desserts are inspiring, but some of the other chapters just don't feel new. I am especially excited to try some of the summery desserts, like fresh peach cremolata and vanilla roasted rhubarb with sweet yogurt. There are a lot of tips in here that will be helpful to new or younger home cooks, but are things I have already figured out along the way. But like everything Ina, it is a cookbook that will get used and is worth having.
There are so many handy tips in this cookbook! I learned quite a bit. So good!
Has even more basics (giving recipes for all types of stock). Beautiful vegetables and new delicious twists on common meat plates.
Actually one of the best. The last 2 were duds but this one reads better, as if it’s Ina talking to you. And recipes are better with normal ingredients. Highly recommend.
Of course Ina Garten has a five-star review. Wonderful recipes, gorgeous photos - what's not to love? There aren't a lot of gluten free recipes, but everything looks like it could be easily adapted with the substitution of a gluten free flour mix or the use of gluten free specific breads, cookies, etc.
Comparing Ina Garten's cookbooks with Dorie Greenspan's is easy: Where Dorie gives you a recipe and lots of variations, Ina says "Here. This is a good recipe, It will be delicious. Trust me." and that's it. No variations, just believe her when she says it'll be great.
