Think Avatar: The Last Airbender Tales of Ba Sing Se, but Norse. This collection of short, but meaningful stories were a quick and fun edition to the Magnus Chase series. It really gives you a better understanding of the Nine Worlds.
Super quick and easy read!! I could have definitely finished this in one day if I hadn’t been in a mini reading slump. The stories were the perfect length and had just the right amount of whimsy. I also loved how Thor tied everything together T.T … The only thing missing was some Magnus time but I do understand that this was supposed to focus on the side characters.

4/5 - Cute little compilation of stories after the events in Magnus Chase The Ship of the Dead. I quite enjoyed my read. Seeing more of each character besides Magnus was nice.
