Clearly I like f’ed up endings. This is my second book by Ania and honestly both were great. I did completely skip 2 pet scenes (you’ll know when they’re coming), but otherwise, loved the creepiness.

I’ve read a lot of horror in my time. I’m not easily spooked. This is the first book in a long time that has me making sure I don’t glance into the dark corners of my bedroom at night. I thought it was great that we go barrelling straight into the story and everything snowballs at a steady yet unsettling pace from there. As the atmosphere and tension builds, the author does a fantastic job of showing a family slowly crumble. The story and story telling had me on edge everytime I picked this up and I loved it!
