Extra half star for having a diverse cast and a mildly more interesting premise than an average ya book. Execution was somewhat lacking, it felt like there were two different premises at play that didn't really work together (the idea of an internet challenge being legitimately dangerous vs the premise based around echoes of community trauma.) It was also unclear why several characters were even a part of the story, and none of the characters had a sufficiently fleshed-out character to make me care if they lived or died.

I finished it, but wasn't super impressed.  Characters were flat and it was hard to really care what was going on.  Parts of the book felt very rushed.  Got pretty gory at times too.
