This was so fun to read! Loved the history of the Bronx sprinkled in. I found the dialogue to be a little cheesy throughout the book but I guess teenagers can be cheesy.

The promise sounded to be way more suspensful than the book itself turned out to be. Still I quite enjoyed it. The sapphic couple was very cute!

Very enjoyable book. A neat, small group of characters to focus on as a group of teens take on a bloody Mary style challenge, entering into a hellscape to save our leads mother, as well as themselves.
