To my surprise, I started off really enjoying this book, even though I had to work hard to imagine the fmc as 25 instead of 19.
But as I got further into the book, it felt like the plot was lacking depth, and some parts moved too quickly for my liking (specifically the development of the fmc and mmc relationship)

Overall the plot was interesting and I wish we’d gotten even more of it. I saw most of the twists coming from a mile away, except for the last one, which genuinely left me shocked
As for the storyline with his mother, we could have skipped it entirely; it felt overly melodramatic, especially at the end cus what the hell was that.
In the end, I still enjoyed my time reading it.
