There was actual whining at the beginning, and the narrator read too fast. I might try again, but I'm very dubious.

Many people find The Wandering Inn daunting to get into -- it is long. PirateAba is prolific. But of the people who overcome that hurdle, I do think most wind up enjoying it. If you do wind up liking it, you will have months and months of reading to enjoy!

Stumbled upon this while looking for good web serials and it definitely delivered.

The pace is meandering, the writing is a pleasure, the characters are fun and the world is definitely a different approach. Insane amount of words, and I'll probably hold off on reading the rest of it until I'm done reading all my physical books, because woof. This series is huge.
Enjoying it so far though!
