Agatha Christie amazes me everytime. I can never guess correctly who is the culprit. Once you think you know, the story turns around to reveal something hidden.

This book has everything…murder, boulders, kleptomaniacs, MILFs, alcoholic pulp authors, agitators, characters who should have been lesbians who end up marrying Germans…

Easily one of the best agatha christie novel. This was so good omg.
Everything about it was peak. I loved how we got to know the characters. The first half of the book focused more on them. We got A LOT of characters but they were all interesting. There were some that anoyed me but there were also some that i liked, especially near the end. They were really unique, not just some side character for the murder.
Also THE TWIST. Like hello?? I was clearly not expecting it. I was really thinking that it was gonna be Jim, the avocat. Like in the wall there was the letter J (just like his name...), he was trying to found the tissue with the other girl (the tissue they found with THE GUN) so he had opportunity to take it, he also had time to take the gun by himself. He was really sus, i wasnt so wrong tho. He was an avocate but here to protect her from a scam and not to kill her..
I just loved the twist honestly. It made all sense like it was just soo good. It did made me sad honestly tho, how they both died in the end.. i had mixed feeling about Simon, i still dont like him tho. Like he had it all but he wanted always too much. I loved Jackie, she just loved Simon. She didnt care about the money, she just wanted a happy life with him..  Also, there was Linnet. I dont hate her, but its still wrong for her to try stealing the fiancé of her BEST FRIEND like wtf?? And she says that she was in love and all. Like thats not an excuse, plus he wasnt interested in her for a while. He only wanted to marry her to kill her. She was also kinda narcissistic, her whole life she got everything she wanted so she thought she could also get the FIANCR OF HER BF. I mean she was still smart and all but still, that was kinda messed up ngl.
I also loved Poirot. I mean i just love him as a whole but this time i loved him even more. He solved it as always, there were some thing that i catch myself but he still cooked. He is just so smart omg. He is also human, like he isnt this surhuman detective who just catches murder and dont care about the rest (idk if i explained good enough), like he is realistic. He did feel bad for Jackie, he talked with everyone and even helped. He even helped Tim and Rosalie to be a couple. Honestly i love him.
In the end, this is one of the best Agatha Christie i read, it just had everything starting from the character, the romance, the revenge, the murder, EVERYTHING.
