One of the best books that I've ever read. It evokes a range of feelings in your heart page by page. The seamless transition between both points of view makes the story even better, with Celestines story being worthy of a book of its own entirely. 110% recommend and one of the best books you will read this year.

Dikembe’s arc through his own eyes as a child is stunning and this in any of itself makes the book more than worth reading. Lowra’s side wasn’t as fleshed out but I didn’t mind - the core of this book is all heart.
