Deep Sea Love

It was so fun to return to this universe of Ashwood’s with these two books. (I’m guessing they take place between the Sea Dragons of Amber Bay and Nora Moss?) I’m just left wanting more! There seems to be so much left undone in this universe and if it takes another series of books, fine by me! But this one opens some mysteries into the worldbuilding that I need answered!

An adorable conclusion to this duet. After being introduced to Magnus and his brooding in book 1 I was excited to see that book 2 would focus on him and his happily ever after.

This book had some mystery, action and, of course, romance. The meeting of Magnus and Nia was a great set up, you just had to know what was going to happen. Reading about the evolution of their relationship, as they learned about each other, their pasts and figured out some of the mystery left from book 1, it just read like a sweet romance. I liked learning about the pasts of both characters and I liked that the characters had more to explore.

I also enjoyed that the author mentioned some characters from her other series and book 1, but didn’t make them the focus of the books. Just enough to get you interested.

Overall this was a sweet book with enough action and romance to keep you interested throughout.

When we first meet Magnus, the male sea dragon lead, in the first book in this series, he is so withdrawn and grumpy that he was almost villainous. And yet, knowing what his father was like, I really was looking forward to how he would change.

Nia, the female witch lead, has been likewise damaged by parental abuse, and is currently searching for her half-brother who disappeared a while ago with her coven’s grimoires. When Nia comes across Magnus in his sea dragon form with his niece and nephew, he maroons her then puts her in the caves under his clan’s island. They’re both far more attracted to each other than they should be…

This longer story is dual POV, well written and edited, and tells the tale of two damaged people coming together and attempting to navigate peace for themselves and their community. I genuinely enjoyed and appreciated the personal growth and development both lead characters underwent, as well as the impact engagement and interaction with other characters had upon them as individuals and a couple. The ending felt genuinely complete and provided hope for a future. The romance in this story stands alone from the first in the duet but the overarching plot is enhanced by having read the first one.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my honest review.

I need me a sea dragon!!

I enjoy this story as much as the last. I love the way the author tied together the story. That all the questions I had from the 1st book were answered. I do wish that we had learned a little bit more about Eric, Lolly, and the twins in this book I felt like it would have pulled it together just a little bit more for me. But I loved the love story rollercoaster that this book took us on.

I’ve loved reading The Norse Sea Dragon duology and definitely recommend them to fans of paranormal romance. I was completely engaged with Magnus and Nia’s story and once I’d started reading I didn’t want to stop. Deep Sea Love is the perfect combination of dragon shifters, witch magic, chemistry between characters and a great storyline.

This was an amazing end to the Norse Sea Dragons duet! For me, it was a very refreshing read as there was an HEA and very little drama/action (which fit this world and story perfectly).

We got to meet Magnus in Book 1, Deep Sea Kiss, and he came across as very stoic and professional, always keeping his people first. This carried over into Book 2 but we got to see more of what motivates Magnus and I enjoyed watching Nia break down his walls and take him outside of his comfort zone. Watching their relationship grow was beautiful.

I am really excited to read more from this author!

A sweet love story, perfect if you are looking for something paranormal, Nia is a witch and Magnus is a sea dragon. It all star off when Nia leave her home to find her brother who fled a few month ago. When she found herself too close to Magnus terriitory, this later can't let her leave but don't want to kill her. He brought her back to his island and then their really bumpy love story begins ( with a lot of issues of course ). I really loved Magnus in book 1 and i fell in love with him readinng his story. We got to see who he really was deep down, as well as how he rules and the cherry on top was having more clues on the hectic relationships between the dragons and the witch.
