That was NOT what I was expecting. Wow. Shout out to my girl Nan King, you would have loved "Good Luck Babe" by Chappell Roan. Also shout out to Nan again because she is truly the Queens strongest woman who dresses like a soldier for everything she went through. 

Absolutely Dickensian in the way that you think Nan has reached rock bottom and she just keeps DIGGING!

The first 100 pages I was like ehhhhh feels very classic historical sapphic yearning and I’m tired. But, around pages 150-300 I went “WOW that’s crazy.” I thought about this book for a couple weeks after completing it and told my friends the full plot multiple times so that’s how I know I liked it. A classic 🙂‍↕️
