Reading the ACOTAR series is essential before reading this book to really understand everything that's going on. The UNIVERSE building in this series is next level. The action is non stop, the characters are funny and relatable, I couldn't put it down. I love that the current trilogy hasn't ended on a cliffhanger, it's such a nice change (looking at you, Yarros). This story is so uplifting!!

This was a complicated experience. Not what I expected. Annoying in the middle, but the end returned to what I loved about the first book.

frankly i think i hindered myself by taking over a month to finish it, but overall great book, wonderful job tying everything together, and i have sooo much love for all these character and cannot wait for the next book of acotar
