Went into this manga with some high expectations due to the hype surrounding this series... but was pretty disappointed with the content. Found I was just mildly interested in the main characters and their story but more importantly the representation and overall interactions involving women/girls was sexist. Not interested in continuing the series.
I really like reading manga, and this series is awesome because it shows the backstory of how manga is created (which for a nerd like me is a great read). The plot in the story is simple, in a good way because it allows flexibility in the plot. I love reading about Jump, and it makes me want to go to Japan and tour the editorial office.

I've attempted to get into manga several times before and never gotten further than the 2nd book simply because they haven't gripped me (and I struggle to remember their names) Despite the fact I can't remember anyone's name, don't even want to attempt to say them out loud and all emotions were much to exaggerated to the point of being unrealistic I did find myself liking the characters and becoming invested in the story and will probably read the next couple in the series before making a final decision about it.
