I love this manga. The comedic timing is great. There are a few moments where the characters talk about sex, but since they're discussing whether or not to wait this is definitely middle school appropriate. There are some concerning comments about gender roles and what makes a girl attractive that I don't like. I would chalk those up to Japanese culture though, and just have a brief conversation with a kid.
This book is amazing! I love anything by this team. It really inspires me to pursue my dreams of creating graphic novels. I really like how supportive the characters are of each other.

sehabis baca manga ini, saya janji GAK AKAN lagi ngomel-ngomel kalau manga/manhua/manhwa/webtoon kegemaranku karena satu dan lain hal terlambat tayang dari jadwalnya. selama ini tahu sih kalau bikin manga itu gak gampang, tapi baru sekarang sadar-sesadar-sadarnya ternyata proses membuat 16 halaman manga itu amat sangat butuh perjuangan, tetesan keringat, darah dan air mata, ditambah bakat dan tekad yang gak boleh habis. apalagi kalau sampai diserialisasi dan akan terbit per tankubon. dari mulai ide cerita, tahap penggarapan, sampai deg-degannya menerima hasil survey penerimaan dari pembaca... wuiih....

This was my first manga ever. I really liked it. I loved the topic, because it didn't have any fantasy aspects to it. I liked that it was about two normal boys, who have a dream to aspire. It was funny to read how different the authors think about ''smart people''. They said in the manga that smart people are unlovable and that the people who don't get the highest grades are smarter than the people who do get them. I found that to be a bit limited, but altogether, I really liked the manga!
It was a decent volume, the story is interesting and the characters are somewhat likable. My main problem with this volume was the few sexist comments I found while reading. It was enough for me to procrastinate finishing. If it were not for these remarks, I am sure I would have enjoyed this volume a lot more. I am hoping that this improves in future volumes.

I liked it and I love the whole concept of a manga about writing a manga, very original. I'll probably read volume two soon and continue with the series when I have time (maybe the summer?)
I really like the story, but is this whole series that sexist? Because damn this volume was really sexist.
I have never Dnf a manga before ever. I only had maybe 10 pages left but I didn't give a shit because this is some sexist bullshit and there is literally a billion better mangas in the world that don't degrade women.
I really like this fictional look into what it takes to be a manga creator. The romance in the story is a little melodramatic, but I see what they're trying to do. Yay volume 1 :)
