A pleasant cozy read for such a snowy time of year. Was nice to read about Aslan bringing spring. XD Wish it would hurry up and come *stares at January viciously* But alas, I'm remembering now how much that I love Mr and Mrs Beaver bickering at each other, and Edmund is still my favorite even when he's being a brat. It's interesting to read this after recently seeing the adaptation and see how true to the heart of the thing they stayed while also expounding on moments and connecting us to pieces and characters that were skimmed over in the book. Interesting.

I appreciated the extra details about Edmunds character that were not noticed from the movie.

A really nice nostalgic read. It isn't the first time that I've read this book but I'm a big fan of the worldbuilding and fantasy. I remember the books being harder to get through when I was younger, so I was surprised to find it so quick and easy to read now. Just nice and comforting, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series for the first time.
