Book 6/30 for youth fantasy lit class. I wasn't a fan of the pacing and I lack the nostalgia that other readers have, but it was sweet and I like his rag tag group of friends.

Such a fun and imaginative young reader's fantasy, I will definitely be finishing this series. Did you know this was the basis of Disney's animated movie The Black Cauldron? I didn't.
