Read this series. There are Fae, dragons, bad-ass Librarians, magicians, high-chaos world, high-logic worlds, high-magic worlds, and just really creative storylines. This writer is consistantly smart, intriguing, and original. Also, as someone who is a Librarian (yeah, I capitalized it), the woven thread of neutrality and how it plays out in this version of the Library is fascinating and really fun.
Read please. If you really hate it, you can shout at me, but I just don't think you will.

Meh. If you're into this kind of thing, you'll be into this. If not, you won't.

This has been my favorite book in the series yet! While initially disappointed by the lack of Vale in this installment, the higher stakes and political complexities made up for it. Cogman is great at continuously expanding into her worlds of creation by adding new characters, new timelines, and new dangers. The worldbuilding on the dragon lore was particularly strong in this one and genuinely appreciated as I found them to be a bit mysterious and wanted to know more from previous installments. I look forward to seeing what adventures the trio will have next.
