it never fails to amaze me how beautifully written and creative is Russian’s literature, the vocabulary? At some point I thought I was dumb and understood nothing, but uk what? THATS THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL!
And omgg the imagination?? The story and the whole plot is mind boggling, I never got bored ONCE, i appreciated every page I read.
Without any surprises my fav characters were behemoth and woland.
I want to yap abt it but i don’t wanna spoil any of it bcz it deserves to be read and appreciated.

This book single-handedly shattered my prior misconceptions about classics. I never thought a day would come when I enjoyed a classic as much as I did this one. The balance of the slapstick narration of the tomfoolery the devil and minions conjure up and the cinematic narration of the Yershalaim subplot blew me away. It felt like getting a whiplash every time the main plot went into the subplot. Bulgakov's version of these godly entities felt very respectful to the source material but at the same time, he has twisted some stuff to move the story forward. My only gripe would be the prose in itself which took me a while to grasp but overall, it do be kinda peak ngl.

Me ha gustado y al mismo tiempo no, creo que no es un libro para mi. Me costo terminarlo porque perdí el interés antes de llegar a la mitad. Habían capítulos que me gustaban mucho, todo lo que le sucedía a la gente por culpa del diablo y su séquito, pero habían otros que me aburrían completamente. No simpatice con los personajes, tal vez con los primeros porque me sorprendió lo que les paso, fueron las primeras victimas.
Al mismo tiempo comprendo que el libro tiene mucho que analizar, hace criticas a la sociedad, a la burguesía, a la corrupción, a la religión, entre otros. Me da un poco de pena saber que ya al final tenia tantas ganas de terminarlo que pasaba por la historia como Margarita por los cielos jajaj
De todas maneras le di tres estrellas porque el libro es original, tiene su encanto, y aunque al final termine hastiada, el principio me gusto mucho.
