I am never going to finish this book. I chose it because it was on Daniel Radcliffe's READ poster, and I really enjoyed it at first. Then I got confused a bit, and I put it down for a while. Great view into Stalin period USSR life, through a hilarious and absurd story about Satan and his croneys. Also excellent writing and great use of metaphors, while at the same time prompting thoughts about religion, values, and ethics.
