no becoz "lift ur hips for me, love" is always gonna be engraved in my mind, my soul, my everything.
i really did not know the chokehold this quote would hold over me.

also AARON MF WARNER EXCUSE ME SIR man do i wanna be juliette!!

Juliette’s character development was amazing in this book. Compared to the first and second book where all she ever did was cry, she’s a much more likeable character in ignite me.
I think the author made a mistake but turning Adam into an asshole. Cheap move.
And I still don’t get the type around Warner. Like yeah he’s cool and all but really ???? He’s definitely not the most amazing guy I’ve ever read about.
There was no plot in this book. All they did was talk and then there was an ok ending. And that was it.
My 3.5 stars go all to Kenji. He’s the real star here. Love him probably a little too much.

ALSO I’ve come to the conclusion that me and Tahereh Mafi’s writing just don’t get along. This is the 4th book I’ve read by her and I struggle with her writing style every time. At least there were no crossed out words in this book!

Het laatste deel van de touching juliette serie heeft me eigenlijk positief verrast vergeleken met de andere delen. Ineens valt het taalgebruik op zijn plek, wel passend bij de nieuwe Juliette, de nieuwe Juliette die zichzelf als een krachtige, meedogenloze leidster laat opmerken, haar eigen keuzes maakt en de consequenties daarvan durft te dragen. Wel heeft het boek een relatief lange aanloop, met heel veel aandacht voor de uiteindelijk oplossing van de traingle (Yay!) en uiteindelijk weinig aandacht voor de uiteindelijke gevechten, zeker omdat Juliette haar eigen strijd voert en we van de andere strijd dus helaas slechts weinig meekrijgen.

Al met al, mooi slot, duidelijk het zwaartepunt van de serie aan het einde. Hoewel ik deze serie niet tot mijn favorieten reken, heb ik de boeken wel met plezier gelezen. Ze zijn vlot en makkelijk geschreven, de lay out helpt je om heerlijk weg te lezen. Het is heerlijk materiaal om even tussendoor te lezen, hoewel niet alle karakters even diepgaand zijn uitgewerkt en verhaallijn niet altijd even geloofwaardig is.
