Yo what the fuck was that. I did not know it was a HP fanfic at first, but in hindsight it was super obvious. This is basically just enslavement porn with absolutely zero chemistry between the main characters. Briony is sooooo horny for a man who is, at the very least, complicit in a taking over her country. Idk man, this genre is just NOT for ME. I cannot even fathom thirsting over a man who BOUGHT me and is KILLING my countrymen. The writing was also pretty bad, and the audiobook narrator is ANNOYING. I can see that they chose a narrator that sounds like Emma Watson (eye roll). Also the descriptions of the villains seemed a touch fucked up and antisemetic, which I guess I not surprising based on it being HP fanfic. But for reals, can we keep fanfic on AO3 and leave trad publishing for original stories? Or at the very least change them enough so it’s not recognizable as fan fiction???
