That was fantastic. I still liked book 2 better, but this is still one of my favorite books. I wasn't sure how good Sigrud would be as a primary protagonist, but he was actually really good.

City of Miracles by Robert Jackson Bennett

4⭐ brief because I'm busy rn.

Excellent conclusion to the trilogy. I've never read a book whose true main character comes out in force in the last book.

Awesome magic, religion, spatial focus, etc. the bittersweet wrap ups are everything! The narrator is excellent too!

A poetic and fitting send-off to Sigrud. An engrossing trilogy that never failed to make me feel something and find poetry amidst brutality.
