 This book is so weird and strange—in the best way. Imagine if Heathers were into witchcraft, drugs, and frilly dresses, and you’ll start to get the vibe. The prose is freaky and kind of dense, occasionally description-bog territory, but once you push through, bonkers truly ensues. 

It’s fun, and sharp, and a really unique spin on the coming-of-age tale. Reading it honestly feels like getting a lobotomy, but in the best way possible. If you’re into pretentious cliques, sacrificial cults, and exploding heads, —all while the characters are busy getting their MFAs in writing and lit—then this one’s for you. 

Maybe I’m messed up, but I was honestly expecting it to be even weirder.
