Simply glorious visual Book of Days. Almost all of the days have a picture taken by Patti herself, several are pictures of Patti taken by others. For each day she writes a brief description of the image and why it has been included on that particular day of the year. The breath and depth of her lifelong engagement with the literary and artistic worlds is on full display. A book to treasure and keep next to your bed and read an entry a day. Now that I've made it to 12/31 I will be starting again at 1/1 tomorrow!

Thankful for more Patti Smith. Hard copy is exquisite. The thoughtfulness of the format itself is similar to Devotion and Woolgathering. The book pointed me to the author’s Instagram. Many ways to engage and research our world.
