Underwhelming, but if you were looking for a big battle, you got it. I think the first book and the last book would make interesting movies. But what would you do with the twelve books in between?

Fantastic ending to the series. Satisfying conclusion with epic moments. Clever and unexpected fulfillment of prophecies.
Egwene and Gawyns death were satisfying even though I personally dislikes both of them.
The way Rand deals with dark one and his survival in Moridins body felt perfect.
The mystery and serenity of Rand after the last battle riding off into adventure and sunset feels like a full circle moment. Rand finally feels wise and content. He now feels like a Gandalf sort character. Smart to move him out of the world he helped build and save.
Matt and Perrin both satisfying.
Hated Androl. Wish Logan had more to do. Egwenes confrontation with Taim was great, as was Lans killing of demanded by sheathing the sword. Demanded did have a presence the other forsaken did not have.
Slightly disappointed we didn't get to see the military acumen of the four great captains, but it let Matt shine as a military genius and explained his part as tavernen.
Hate the seanchen and it's a shame we didn't get to see a reckoning for them.
Did enjoy Rodel Ituralde and Talmanes increased presence.
The book was miles better than the last two.
Did get scared when it looked like mine was to be kidnapped by tuon.
All in all, probably not a fantastic book, but was a fantastic ending to a fourteen book series. Gave good endings to a large amount of characters which was impressive.

I'm pretty surprised by how much everyone loved this book. The series overall was incredible and I'm heartbroken to leave behind characters I've spent well over a year hanging out with but it dragged on so much the last couple of books. Brandon waffled on about the same stuff over and over and then really rushed a couple of points that needed to be wrapped up. Rand living and Egwene dying is the most annoying thing though, she was such an incredible character, went through so much, and should have gone on to be the longest living Amyrlin, re-building the tower and the way of the Aes Sedai for the fourth age, helping unify them with the male aes sedai etc. But like cool she turned Taim into an ice lolly and frazzled herself out of existence. Ah well. Still one of my favourite series of all time, just wish Robert had lived to write it.
